2019 was a year of special events. Some of the notable events include:

1. Seed Balls: Around four lakh seed balls were sprinkled last year in the vellore district by the small effort of SRDPS to battle global warming. This event was kick started by Tirupattur district collector Mrs. Priyanka Pankajam. Many volunteers have joined with SRDPS and sprinkled seed balls. Seed balls were distributed as return gifts by SRDPS in 3 marriage receptions.
