31 YEARS OF ACHIEVEMENTS BY SRDPS

SRDPS has been working in partnership with the Government, and running awareness programs among the public on child protection and women's safety,child marriage, good touch and bad touch sexual harassment, road safety awareness in collaboration with Tamilnadu police, polio and corona awareness in collaboration with the Tamilnadu health sector, seed ball sowing, tree planting and maintenance.
Our foot prints in social development activities have touched the lives of 1000.

Women Development

Women Sangams under Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas(DWCRA) obtained Family Cards for 365 households Guidance for getting loan through Integrated Rural Development Project(IRDP) for women sangams Micro Credit Programmes. Vikas Parv-2000 programme sponsored by State Social Welfare Board - 10 villages &1201 women
Short Stay Home for Women and Girls-Rehabilitation – 135 beneficiaries Women Self Help Groups - 416 groups and 5850 beneficiaries Monthly Revenue Meeting for SHGs - 65 programmes and 11033 Participants
Animator & Representative Training – 11 programmes and 3299 beneficiaries Entrepreneurs Development Programme (EDP) - 19 Training Programmes and 538 beneficiaries Training conducted for Representative of Self Help Groups through National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) - 240 beneficiaries
Conducted the Marking Awareness Programme jointly with Tamilnadu Women Development Corporation for Representative of Self Help Groups -2152 beneficiaries Awareness Generation Programme (AGP) – 38 villages and 2866 women Formed Village Level Watch dog committee to Safeguard Women and Children - 27groups
Counselling centre for women with family problems have been counselled and helped to avail free legal service and Job Placement - 83 women and girls benefitted. Counselling and Government Women Welfare Scheme support to destitute women have been obtained from the DSWO

Child Development

Street Children Programme under Hope for Children Organization -647 children Evening Tuition for Slum/Street Children - 136 children, Prevention of Child Labor programme. - 63 children Children enrolled as students in existing schools - 519 children
Educational Tour for destitute children, National day and Festival Celebrations 166 runaway children have been rescued and restored to their parents 84 Children in conflicting situation have been admitted to Govt. Children home after producing them before the Child Welfare Committee
Education support to orphan and the single parent children have been obtained from the DSWO Child Adoption Centre – rescued 24 children by SRDPS and handed over to District Administration Child rights, Care and Protection – Awareness Meetings were conducted & IEC materials and more than 13000 were distributed

General (More than 22000 Beneficiaries)

Free Health camps, Eye camps, Herbal education class, Awareness of rehabilitation on De-addict AIDS Prevention Programmes under Tamilnadu AIDS Control Society, Chennai and APAC Joint Forest Management with TAP Project under Tamil Nadu Forest Department
Environment Care Programmes, Assistance to Foreign Scholars, Human Rights Promotion Camps Day Care Centre and Mobile Medical Care for aged, Consumer Awareness Programmes Road Safety awareness created to all the Government Schools in Tirupattur Educational District. More than 25000 students were benefited under the program.
