Christmas is a highly anticipated holiday, especially among children in Society for Rural Development Promotion Services who look forward to receiving presents from Santa and singing carols. It also marks the beginning of a long vacation for schools. A few days after the Christmas festivities, New Year celebrations begin.

There is a festive cheer in the air and the vibe is celebratory and spirited in SRDPS homes. While India may not be a Catholic nation, it has a fair share of Christians and Catholics who celebrate Christmas with much fanfare. People of other religions also take part in the festivities and enjoy themselves during this time of year.
