Director Message
Society for Rural Development Promotion Services – SRDPS is a Non Governmental Social Organization which was established on 03.09.1990 by my husband Mr.Rajapanneer Selvam. He laid much emphasis on working relentlessly for the welfare of the orphans, abandoned women and children. Unfortunately, he breathed his last on 24th August, 2017. After his demise, I took the responsibilities of SRDPS and running it successfully to this day. I committed myself to develop and strengthen this social organization, which will render valuable service of giving life and security to the orphan, abandoned women and children.
Even though society faced a critical condition last year due to the widespread of the deadly virus CORONA, we continued our services for our beneficiaries in the best possible ways. Joining hands with the Tirupattur District Administration and Government of Tamilnadu, we created awareness among the public through various programs and rallies. Many extended their support to this initiative in the last year. We expect your support in the upcoming years for the growth of SRDPS.
- Providing healthy food and shelter for orphan, abandoned women and children.
- Sharing non formal education, moral values and health care for victims.
- Conducting awareness programmes about ill- treatment of women and child labor in schools for Girls.
- Spreading awareness among girl children about self-protection.
- Organising events to educate women on behaviour and attitude in public places.
- Taking measures to prevent Anti-Social elements affecting women and children.
- Inculcating the school children to know the Acts passed by the government for their security and peace.
