The protected cradle has been fitted on the outside of the main gate (left side). Instructions on how to surrender the baby safely and without the knowledge of others is specified, both in local language and English. Once the baby is placed in the cradle it cannot be taken out from outside as the cradle gets self-locked. Just a press on the bell will put the baby into safe hands and ensure its immediate care and support. The baby can be taken out from inside without disturbing it.
