FUN AND ENTERTAINMENTS

The Residential Home arranges an excursion trip every year to entertain the beneficiaries of the home. Going out and looking around can always be a personal delight for the beneficiaries. Accordingly, this year the trip was organized on 17.03.2021 to visit the Yelagiri Hills, popularly known as 'The Ooty of the Poor'. All the beneficiaries and staff members of SRDPS started for the trip on a luxury bus. All arrangements for food and transportation were pre-planned and made on time. The group reached the famous God Perumal Temple at Adiyoor near Tirupattur. The trip continued to the mountain rage of Yelagiri which has a land area of 14 arches. The beneficiaries are very much delighted and expressed their joy by taking photographs, singing and dancing.

The group finally reached Yelagiri hills where we visited the famous Murugan temple and a Nature Park. The variety of trees and flowers perfected peace and serenity to minds, there the group had their lunch.

After lunch, the group had a boat ride at the famous lake in Yelagiri. Concerning their safety, one staff was allocated with each boat and together they had a great time with nature. Then they moved to a park where they enjoyed playing on the swings, rides and ramps. We finally started our return journey and reached the foot of the hills at 5 pm. The purpose of arranging such trips every year is to take the beneficiaries to the outside world for a change of mind. Thus this trip helped them reduce their stress and worries and gave them a different experience.

Children were taken to Geo Circus. Many thanks to the Tirupattur Collector who made arrangements for the tickets. Children were all excited and enjoyed the circus.
